A pledge of performance Ferraris Special Series line has spawned some of the most spectacular cars ever seen, and the 296 Speciale is the new heir to this family that includes the 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia, the 458 Speciale, and the 488 Pista. Fitted with a V6 engine for the first time, whereas all its predecessors had a V8, the 296 has a combined output of 880 horsepower: 700 petrol and 180 electric - bigger numbers that spell overwhelming performance. Pin With the lessons learned from the racing model, Ferrari has created a unit with a combined output of 234hp/litre, where the powerful V6 is helped by the axial-flow MGU-K electric motor, offering up to 25km of range in zero-emissions mode. The Speciale produces 435kg of downforce at 250km/h and saw its weight reduced by 60kg compared to the standard 296 GTB, thanks to the extensive use of materials such as aluminium and carbon fibre. Pin Alcantara is the material of choice inside, for an openly sporty feel, and the infotainment systems are all state-of-the-art. On the road, Ferrari promises unique sensations behind the wheel.
