The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica returns to Cascais in 2026 with two races, including the Grand Finale at the historic Estoril Circuit. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica was one of the competitions presented during the Cascais Press Preview 2026, an initiative organised by Cascais City Hall in partnership with Cascais Tourism. Te event brought together media professionals for the ofcial presentation of the main events that will form part of the municipality s calendar next year. Te inclusion of the PSCI refects the growing recognition of the series, which is now among the international events Cascais plans to promote in 2026. Te 2026 season of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica will feature two rounds at the Estoril Circuit, the warm-up at the Estoril Circuit on 28 March, and the grand fnale at Estoril, from 30th October to 1st November. José Monroy, Series Man-ager of the competition, says the calendar design refects a clear vision for the new season: “We wanted a calendar that would challenge drivers and teams from the frst to the last weekend. Te warm-up at Estoril, the variety of tracks, and the return to Estoril for the grand fnal create a strong narrative for the season. We believe that 2026 will be another year of great intensity, competitiveness, and spectacle, refecting the continued growth of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica.” Beyond its sporting dimension, the event also plays a role in the municipality s broader strategy to promote Cascais internationally through sport and tourism. Estoril s Motorsport Legacy Over the decades, the Estoril Circuit has established itself as a signifcant venue in the history of motorsport. It has hosted major championships including Formula 1, the World Rally Championship, MotoGP and the World Superbike Championship, among many other international competitions. Tis legacy has helped position Cascais and Estoril as territories closely linked to motorsport culture, where speed, innovation and competition remain part of the region s identity. At the same time, Cascais is internationally known for its cosmopolitan environment, its connection to fashion and tourism, and its reputation as a premium destination. For organisers, this setting complements the positioning of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, combining ontrack performance with a distinctive Porsche-branded atmosphere. Te presence of the PSCI at the Cascais Press Preview 2026 reinforces the competition s position within the municipality s international events calendar.
